The Internet import facility is easy to use and picks up transactions that previously were easy to miss. It may be an insurance premium, VAT or simply a transaction on my bank statement I could have overlooked. All monthly expenses such as Telkom and ADT are now automatically allocated, and doing these allocations only takes about an hour a month.

Ruphin now specialises in industrial and entertainment photography and his clients include the Market Theatre, Pieter Toerien Peoples Theatre, Johannesburg Youth Theatre, Theatre on the Square and the Sibekwa Players. And EconoAccounting manages all these customers.

I still do not understand accounting, but I dont need to, and I no longer need to use the monthly services of an accountant, he says.

At year end when I present my financial to my auditor, their response is positive and the information and format of our accounts are fully compliant with their requirements.�

All the accountant does is perform the depreciation calculations and validate the financials. The groundwork is now properly prepared, and this is how I have managed to halve my accounting costs,� he says.

At any stage I am able to produce a trial balance, income statement or balance sheet at the push of a button,� says Ruphin.

Overall it is an excellent solution that is easy to use, easy to understand and produces 100 percent accurate accounts.�
