Question: It is permanent once you've processed it. If you don't like what you have said, you can issue a credit note and then re-issue the invoice. I personally make out a quote before making out the invoice if it is different to my usual invoice. Then I look and see if I like what I've said. In this way I can pre-view - I can check if I have remembered everything etc. Quotes does not impact on the financials. Only when I am happy do I convert the quote to an invoice. |
