How do I run EconoAccounting across a network?

Answer:

Procedure:
Share the folder c:\program files\ on the server. (assuming econoaccounting is installed in the default directories.)
On each client PC, map to that share, e.g. name the drive S:
Then s:\econoaccounting\ on the client PC is where the empty Econoaccounting database resides, and all companies you have created will reside in the folders below that folder.
Then, from the client PC: Change file settings to point to s:\econoaccounting\
When you login again you will be able to access the right company's data.
If you have problems or you get strange mesages, it will relate to how you have set up the Microsoft networking, access rights, login rghts to the network etc. All we require is that each PC has full rights, ie. read, write, change access to all files in the shared directory.
